Part 1: Advantages and Basics of Breastfeeding/Formula Feeding
Breastfeeding is a good and natural way to feed a baby. However, breastfeeding carries with it some challenges and problems. Formula feeds is an alternative to breastfeeding, it does have its Pros and Cons as well.
Part 1 of our 5 part course covers the breastfeeding challenges and problems like milk supply issues that can arise with breastfeeding and constipation or diarrhoea that can arise from formula feeding and how to prepare.
Part 2: Nursing Positions,Proper Latch On, Formula Preparation and Storage
There are different nursing positions that you can use to feed your baby. And no matter what nursing position you use, you still have to work on your latch with your baby.
Part 2 of this class teaches you the basics on Nursing positions during feeding, how to get a good latch, baby formula types, formula preparation and storage.
Part 3: Breast Pumping, Pump Types, Brands of Feeding Bottles and Nursing Bras
Breastfeeding and Formula feeding are beautiful, but sometimes it can be helpful to have some tools to free up time and make the whole process easier.
Part 3 of this class teaches you about breast pumping, brands of feeding bottles, baby formula types, types of pumps, bottle sterilization, and nursing bras.
Part 4: Tips for Going Back to Work
When you go back to work after a new baby, you may feel like you’re a million miles behind – emotionally and physically. But going back to work does not have to be as tough as you may think.
Part 4 of this class guides you to ease back into your routine as an employee and a mom.
Part 5: Dedicated Question and Answer Time
Dedicated time to get questions answered by an expert, whether it’s about breastfeeding, formula feeding, formula storage, brands of feeding bottles, baby formula types, pumping, going back to work, or anything in-between.
