Part 1: How your body prepares for birth and delivery

There is a lot of information out there, but it’s hard to know what is accurate or misleading.

Part 1 of our 4 part childbirth preparation class covers everything you need to know about birth and delivery so you know what to expect.

Part 2: Overview of coping skills

Labor is a powerful, yet healthy, force. The process can feel like a rollercoaster. There are moments when it is exhilarating and challenging, and moments when it is just downright painful. The unpredictability is what makes it so difficult, but it is also what makes it so special. It is important to find ways to cope with the pain and minimize recovery time after labor.

Part 2 of our childbirth preparation class provides an overview of what to expect during and after labor, how to minimize stress, and strategies to focus on the process.

Part 3: Relaxation and breathing techniques

When it comes to labor and delivery, many people may feel anxious and scared. What if we told you that there were techniques that can help you calm down, relax, and focus on your body?

Part 3 of this class teaches you techniques to help you calm down, relax and focus on your body during labor.

Part 4: Postpartum Period

Pregnancy is a time of exciting changes. But what about the first six weeks after giving birth (the postpartum period)?

Part 4 of this class helps you learn more about your body and prepares you with everything you need to know for the postpartum period.

Part 5: Newborn Care

There is a lot of confusion about what is normal for a newborn ranging from characteristics to behaviors.

Part 5 of our childbirth preparation class will equip you with what is normal for newborns, how you can manage issues that arise, and what you can expect from your baby within the first 3 months together.
